Professionally speaking, Rita Fyffe doesn’t know anything other than public service. At age 18, Fyffe went to work in adult probation with Gregg County, Texas, in November 1977, just months after graduating from Longview High School. Fyffe worked in that department—now called Community Supervision and Corrections—for the next 12 years.
