EEOC Votes to Revamp Federal Discrimination Complaint Procedures

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has voted to advance a proposed rule that would change how federal employees file discrimination complaints against their agencies. The changes include removing the right to join class-action complaints unless filed in federal court and ending the mandatory counseling that informs complainants of their rights.
