Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired OperationsInc LLC, a Norwalk, CT-based human resources consulting firm.

Founded in 2001, OperationsInc provides consulting and outsourcing services for people strategy, human resources, payroll, human resources information systems (HRIS), talent acquisition, and employee training.

The firm works with startups, small- to medium-sized businesses, large businesses, private equity, and non-profits.

OperationsInc’s team of 150+ HR and payroll experts have worked with more than 2,000 companies in 70+ industries in the United States and abroad.

OperationsInc’s team will remain at its present location and will report to Steve Coco (formerly of Buck), Gallagher’s global managing director for HR and compensation consulting within the firm’s employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.

Gallagher acquired Buck, a global provider of retirement, HR, and benefits consulting and administration services, in 2023.
